PNE Development

PNE Group is a not for profit organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne, that has provided consultancy work and innovative training solutions for public, private and third sector organisations in the North East, UK and on an international basis since 1980.

The PNE Development team is currently offering the following training for 2008:

‘Implementing Best Practice for Better Performance’

This programme offers;

A variety of ways for you to identify and implement best practice into your organisation to ensure better performance, efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability.  A range of learning and development opportunities covering a range of topics such as planning, funding and finance, leadership, governance, management of staff and volunteers, quality, policy and procedures, employment law and lots more.

  • Professional management training & assessment to enable people to achieve qualifications accredited by bodies including the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

  • Facilitating sessions to help with organisational development and strategic planning.
  • Carrying out independent evaluations on behalf of funders, enabling projects to secure further funding.
  • Advising community groups on starting up a charity
  • Assisting local groups to write their organisations' policies and procedures.
  • Writing business plans
  • Devising fundraising plans
  • Providing management committee training for the members of many local groups
  • Assisting with community participation to evaluate projects and plan strategies
  • Planning the way forward
  • Implementing volunteer recruitment strategies
  • Providing personal development training to paid staff and volunteers including weekend residential programmes to develop team spirit.
