voluntaryskills.com won the title of 'Best Voluntary Sector Website' at the very first North East Digital Awards ceremony held in Newcastle upon Tyne on Thursday 15th May 2008.

Funded by regional development agency One NorthEast, the awards celebrate and promote the achievements of businesses, companies and organisations that have recognised, developed and used digital technology to best effect throughout 2007.

There were 240 award nominees from 139 businesses across the region, and following an online vote to create a shortlist, the eventual winners were chosen by a panel of judges.
