Third Sector's Charity Pulse survey uncovers how sector employees feel about their working lives.

Voluntary sector staff are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with their salaries, early findings from Third Sector’s Charity Pulse survey indicate.

Initial responses from the annual survey on attitudes to working in the sector, run in conjunction with Birdsong Consulting, show that 47 per cent of those surveyed so far agree that their salaries are competitive with similar roles within the sector.

The figure has declined every year since 2007, when it was at 62 per cent.

Charity Pulse asks sector employees to rate their employers and say what they think about their jobs.

Respondents can choose to leave their contact details and be entered for a prize draw for the chance to win one of four coaching sessions with Birdsong. The survey can also be completed anonymously.
